We hired John in May 2013 to undertake a remodel of our rental house kitchen. John was very helpful in suggesting where to go to select good quality but reasonably priced components, including cabinets, appliances, countertop, flooring, a new storm door, and lighting. All were installed in a timely and professional manner. John and his assistant Amy reliably arrived every morning and were extremely pleasant to work with. At the end of the job, John was very willing to go through our "punch list" and address all issues, like a cabinet drawer that was sticking. John Harte remodeled our kitchen and laundry room in spring 2009. The rooms were gutted, new custom cabinets were installed, new ceramic tile flooring was installed, quartz counter tops were installed, and so on. John did an extremely professional job. I have been in the real estate business for almost 30 years. I have worked with a number of contractors because of this and because of my position as President of a local hospital. We did a number of hospital construction projects worth 100 million or more in total. 
John Harte fixed a major water damage problem in my house caused by a severe winter storm and roof problems. The ceilings, walls and floors were all torn out and either replaced or put back together. The finished product looked like nothing had happened and had a first quality look to it. 
John is an outstanding individual who is great to work with. He does great work, is honest and trustworthy. He is very knowledgeable and his pricing is reasonable.

Harte Remodels connected our house to a patio room by opening the dining room wall for a doorway and opening the kitchen area and creating a bar between the two rooms. The house is old so there were surprises such as Ducts and plumbing where we did not expect them. . I had the vision but none of the practical knowledge. John Harte worked with my dream and made it a reality. His workmanship is excellent. John provided detailed estimates and explanations of costs and timelines. Places where we got stuck like paint color John provided respectful, practical advice and a ring of infinity colors that were most helpful.
