60's Kitchen/Family Room Reclaims Mid Mod Roots

This open-plan kitchen/family space was cut in half by an ugly peninsula - obstructing flow and highlighting clutter, dirty dishes and wasted space.Solution: turn the peninsula into a cooking island, move the sink (and dirty dishes) out of the way to the window, open up flow by widening doorways to dining room and patio - et voila, a fully functional cooking and entertaining space that everyone can enjoy!

Victorian Whole House Remodel

For this renovation we gutted a historic Victorian house, The home features custom details throughout, notably the stairs, moldings and reconditioned original doors. The HVAC is zoned, with in floor radiant heat and central air.Structural changes were incorporated in the kitchen and living room to open up flow and increase kitchen footprint.High efficiency low-e windows were installed throughout.
